Older kohlrabi also needs a peel, but then you can eat the leaves just like any other Heartier Green. The broccoli stalk is delicious, nutty and sweet - it just needs a good peel of the fibrous outer layer. Sometimes we get caught up in eating only broccoli florets or fennel bulbs and we forget that there's so much more to all these vegetables. To keep them at their best, chop them into small pieces, blanch according to these helpful instructions from The Kitchn, dry and freeze in a sealed container. Most of these vegetables can be frozen, but will lose some structure, so you'll want to eat them cooked after defrosting. Once the vegetables start to smell bad or collapse or turn weird colors - time for the compost bin.Īsparagus is a bit fussy - to keep it fresh as long as possible, store upright in the fridge with the bottom ends in a water-filled cup (like how you'd store fresh flowers), then eat quickly. You can also place them in an ice-water bath to revive them a bit, just like salad greens. R oasting is a good way to cook slightly older veggies, as the crispy edges will help add texture that's been lost due to age. Most stems, stalks, buds and flowers can be store loosely wrapped in bags in the fridge for at least 3 to 5 days, if not longer. Use your judgment - if the vegetables are a bit wilted or have some tiny brown spots or have lost some vibrancy but still seem fresh and smell like they should, you can probably eat them, just remove any bruised spots with a small knife.

I feel because of that, a lot of other films or works try to project the Internet in a much more negative light. We have a lot of our own issues that we have in our present, real society that have been transferred into the Internet, like the toxicity and fake news and a lot of these kind of negative aspects. The Internet is no longer what it was 20 years ago, in many ways. But fast forward to today, I think the Internet has emerged as much more of as a reflection of our own reality now that we have all generations using it and how it’s become such a necessity in our daily lives. It was like this new toy that children were playing with that had all kinds of different possibilities. it was this emerging technology that people were going to be able to use and the younger generations were going to take advantage of to smash a lot of the establishments of the old world and develop something completely new and their own. During this time, I feel there’s been a massive change or a shift in how the Internet is being used and how it is being perceived.īack when I was making Digimon, I think that the Internet was a much more young space. To your point, I’ve been making movies that kind of deal with the theme of the Internet for the past 20 years, all the way up to today. Polygon spoke with Hosoda over Zoom about the origins of U, his work with Cartoon Saloon’s Tomm Moore and Frozen character designer Jin Kim on Belle, and the surprising link between Final Fantasy and the giant subwoofer-encrusted whale seen in the film’s opening.įictional online worlds are a recurring staple of your films - what is about the Internet that continues to inspire you as a filmmaker? Belle’s world of U feels like both a continuation and an evolution of the ideas glimpsed in Digimon’s digital superhighway, as well as Summer Wars’ OZ. Hosoda’s fascination with the transformative and reflective potential of virtual worlds goes as far back as his work on 2000’s Digimon: Our War Game (later re-edited into Digimon: The Movie in the West). When one of Belle’s concerts is interrupted by a mysterious entity known as the “Dragon” who terrorizes the denizens of U, she embarks on a journey to forge a bond with the beast unlike any she has known before. The latest film from the director of Summer Wars, Wolf Children, and Mirai centers on the story of Suzu, a shy high school student who rediscovers her love for singing when she enters the immersive online world of “U.” Shedding her quiet and reserved self, Suzu adopts the identity of Belle, a gorgeous singer with a beautiful voice beloved by all those around her. Belle is the anime that Mamoru Hosoda has always wanted to make. That’s cute, but not vital for something your pet is drinking from. A few of the fountains we looked at had the added bonus of being cute, coming in fun colors, or otherwise appearing aesthetically pleasing.

In Group B, Austria managed to set up a decisive final game against Germany, dubbed "Austria's final". Switzerland managed to beat the group winner Portugal in their last game. In Group A, the Swiss lost their captain, Alexander Frei, to injury in their first game and became the first team to be eliminated from the tournament, after losing their first two matches. Austria and Switzerland were not expected to progress, despite the advantage of being the hosts. In the group stage, Croatia, Spain and the Netherlands all qualified with maximum points. In contrast, Germany and Portugal were deemed to have an easy draw, as the tournament structure meant they could not meet Italy, France, the Netherlands or Spain until the final. The draw for the finals tournament took place on 2 December 2007, and saw Group C immediately labelled as the "group of death", with Italy, France, Romania and the Netherlands competing for the two qualifying places. England was the only seeded team not to qualify for the tournament proper, whereas Russia was the only unseeded one to qualify. The qualifying tournament was contested by national teams from each of UEFA's member associations, with the exceptions of Austria and Switzerland, who had automatically qualified for the finals tournament as hosts and Montenegro, who came into existence too late to be admitted to UEFA. Qualification for Euro 2008 started in August 2006, just over a month after the end of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. As European champions, Spain earned the right to compete for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup in South Africa. Austria and Switzerland automatically qualified as hosts the remaining 14 teams were determined through qualifying matches, which began in August 2006. Throughout 31 matches, the participating nations totalled 77 goals, the same as the previous tournament. They recorded the worst finish in Euro 2008, collecting the least amount of prize money and gaining no points in their three group fixtures. Greece were the defending champions going into the tournament, having won UEFA Euro 2004, the previous competition. Spain were also the first team since Germany in 1996 to win the tournament undefeated. The second jointly hosted finals in the competition's history, the tournament was eventually won by Spain, defeating Germany 1–0 in the final becoming only the second nation to win all their group stage fixtures and win the European Championship itself an accomplishment matched by France in 1984. It took place in Austria and Switzerland (both hosting the tournament for the first time) from 7 to 29 June 2008. The 2008 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2008, was the 13th UEFA European Football Championship, a quadrennial football tournament contested by European nations. It's better than a real paper pad, though, because you can then digitally share these scribbles with others. This cross-platform app is made by Wacom, creator of the industry leading Wacom tablets, and named after its own Bamboo styluses, but you can use them with other tablets and styluses, too.īamboo Paper essentially turns your Android tablet into the equivalent of a paper notebook, and makes it simple for you to sketch out ideas and concepts, quickly and without fuss. If you're not interested in 'proper' drawing, but just want to scribble, doodle and sketch out ideas on your Android tablet instead, then Bamboo Paper should be your app of choice. While Krita (above) just pips it for value and new tools, Infinite Painter has a simpler UI and is approachable, just like Procreate. Overall, for the fee, this is a high-end and feature-laden drawing app for Android that manages to feel as close to the Procreate experience as you could wish for on a non- Apple device. The app costs $9.99 and while there's no free version, there is a seven-day free trial. You can also record your own drawing as a timelapse, and other features include a lasso fill tool, touch gestures and support for PSDs. There are nearly 200 brushes to choose from, ranging from pencils to charcoals, and you can create your own too. The interface is clean, organised, and highly customisable, and it feels very natural to make marks, providing a superb experience for artists. We have implemented many parsers from the most popular assets/images formats and we are especially proud of our ABR/TPL parser which not only reads brush stamps and patterns, but also most settings which are converted to Artstudio Pro brush engine values.Looking for an Android alternative to Procreate, the popular iOS app? Then I recommend Infinite Painter, a cross-platform painting, sketching, and drawing app that's available for tablets, phones, and Chromebooks. Why would SUN need to do that? Solaris and Linux’s basic API’s aren’t baroque like the win32 API. Any web links explaining how it works?ĭebman (IP: -.) – Posted on 19:19:26Īre they implementing Java desktop so that all the APIs are obfuscated by Java just like how C# will obfuscate Win32 ? How does NeWS work, do developers who have apps written for X11 need to rewrite large chunks of their code for it. The only problem I see here is most of the apps will only work for X and if NeWS was like we know Aqua to be today, I don’t know if developers want to try and follow yet more API’s. Maybe Sun should plan on introducing NeWS for their linux desktop with a rootless X server. His exam is thorough and he is a no-nonsense kind of gentleman who does not try to "sell" his patients anything. This office proves that they care about me.not just my teeth. I was impressed that the office uses all of the latest state-of-the-art technology, and this insures that the treatment is not just done well, but that it exceeds current standards of care by a wide margin. It was incredibly relaxing because it was so gentle and peaceful. She is both through and gentle and spared me the constant talking that many other hygienists do during my cleaning. When I was seated in the chair of the hygienist, Alyssa, she was very professional in reviewing my history and most thorough in her examination, including an incredibly thorough Oral Cancer Screening and Blood Pressure screening. Her phone calls and immediate first contact instilled confidence that I was in the right place for great care. My greeting from April as I walked in was incredibly warm and inviting. While they can't be entered as levels, they are valid stopping points so this allows you to assign them a level number in case you want them to display a name or give them initial enabled directions. made it possible to change level tile settings for tiles 0x82-0x86 in the overworld editor. This means the overworld editor now has direction to enable settings on level tiles for both of these, and the Secret Exit 2 and Secret Exit 3 goal point tape sprites have been added to the sprite list. made it possible to use Secret Exit 2 and Secret Exit 3 in the game.made it possible for the overworld Star/Pipe index table to hold twice as many entries (0x100), to accommodate secondary exit teleport locations.added a new toolbar button to the overworld editor that can set secondary exit teleport locations, which uses the same table as the Star/Pipe tiles. You can also optionally set an exit to the overworld to pass the level with the normal/secret exit of your choice or just switch players, use a different base event when passing the level, and teleport to a different location. added a new option for secondary entrances to exit to the overworld.Note that the older option for the same thing in screen exits can also still be used. added a new option for secondary entrances to make the level a water level. This allows you to have the midway entrance for an overworld level be in another level entirely. added a new option for midway entrances to redirect a midway entrance to another level.made it so that using the "Shoot From Slanted Pipe Right" entrance action combined with the "Face left" option will make Mario shoot left instead of right.added a new option for entrances to have Mario face the left direction. To have H/V scroll set to None, you should be using the 4th entry in the list rather than one of the later ones. Note that these take up slots that were previously blank (H/V Scroll of None), so you may want to double check your scroll settings in older levels. added 4 new vertical scroll settings for layer 2 (Variable 2, Variable 3, Variable 4, and Slow 2).The BG height is a new setting in the "Change Other Properties" dialog, along with an option to just set the BG relative only to the FG which is meant mainly for layer 2 levels. added an option for entrances to use a new FG/BG init system which can set the FG relative to the player, and calculates the BG position relative to the FG position, scroll settings, level height, and BG height.in vertical levels most objects will no longer break up on horizontal subscreen boundaries (but they still will on vertical ones).a limitation of the original game where sprites could not start with an FF byte has been removed (previously LM would silently move the sprite on save when it encountered this to avoid premature termination of the sprite list for the level).levels can now have up to 128 sprites instead of 84 for non-SA1 ROMs.added a setting to the "Change Properties in Sprite Header" dialog to control the sprite vertical spawning range for horizontal levels and an option for smart spawning.the sprite loader now has a cache added by Vitor to reduce the performance impact from parsing most of the sprite list to access sprites on later screens. You can find the new setting controlling this in the "Change Properties in Header" dialog, along with a new option that lets you view the full bottom row of tiles in horizontal levels. integrated an ASM hack submitted by Vitor into LM that allows changing the height of horizontal levels, effectively making it possible to change the level dimensions.Change log Version 3.00 December 25, 2018 Will new and returning players alike have a good time with its fast-paced action combat and simple yet effective story? Definitely. Is it a worthwhile purchase for players new to the fold? Absolutely. The game’s quality isn’t really what’s in question here, but rather how a slightly modernized rerelease of the game on current-gen hardware (right before it becomes last-gen) fares. You'll actually see Adol clip into the clouds a bit and a part of it isn't walkable that should be.Ys: Memories of Celceta is a good game, and has been since its original release on PlayStation Vita back in 2012 our review archive holds no shortage of testament to that fact. You'll run into an area surrounded by clouds. I saved this one for last because it's the most blatant. But make sure you go over this with a comb, you likely have completion here. This one is an easy miss, because it's a lengthy cutscene the first time out and you may not think about doing it the first time. Do this warp tablet, then exit up the stairs. Notice I didn't say Plateau Path although that's a good one. I would suggest warping to this tablet, then "hug" the various crevices around the tower, the Sanctuary of Storms area AND - MOST IMPORTANTLY - the exit out to the west and the path beyond, top and bottom of those paths. This one's easier to do after the Sanctuary of Storms has been disabled completely (story event), but you can do it anytime. Note that if you've been shooting for 100% harvest, you really should have already completed this one just because of layout, but the top of the bottom section has a few crevices you want. The map won't make it obvious that there's completion missing. The bottom part, you're going to want to "hug" both the top AND bottom of that path thoroughly, especially the bottom. We're focusing on the large crater south of the Ancient Burrow. Not the village itself, just use the warp tablet for this. (This is an example of the misaligned map I was talking about.) You'll know you got it when you can see both rivers from the bottom of the tree clearly. While that area isn't walkable, it counts towards mapping, so what you'd have to do is make sure the tree in the area was knocked down and actually walk it, then hug the area that's on the upper section, along the roots of the tree. Once you've done that, the other trouble spot (same warp tablet) is the river just south of the big tree. Note that you can't complete this area without the Beast Claws. Not at least entering the cave will cost you map percentage. Be sure to also go in and explore (not for map, but otherwise) the Waterfall Cave. You'll also encounter a unicorn superboss that will wreck you if you're not careful, but the reward is a Hero Ring that you'll definitely want. Explore EVERYTHING here, "hug" every wall, go up the tree and "hug" every branch, etc. This is a big one, because there's nothing story-related that would tell you to go anywhere on this side of the map, but it's vital you do. Immediately south of this warp tablet (the path to the east of Danan Village's tablet). "Hug" this entire section, because you may not have gone close to the water the first time out. On the map if you highlight this warp tablet, immediately to its right is a donut-shaped area. Also the section just south of the entry warp tablet, the left hand side may have a little. This one seems odd, but the area that's around the front door to the lab (Where you fought the first living machine) has some crevices you'll want to "hug" to make sure they're cleared. Simply warp out and check the areas I note below, and you CAN reach 100%, then you can get the artifact, then warp back and complete. In other words, you can complete Bronze/Silver/Gold paths in Iris, but DON'T go to the final portal that opens there. There is an extra 1%-ish of completion you can get for doing the volcano, so if you get to 99% and can't be arsed with what I say below, absolutely you can just let the volcano section complete, but then you won't get the artifact that's offered for turning in 100% to Griselda. YOU CAN GET 100% BEFORE THE VOLCANO AS LONG AS YOU DON'T FIGHT THE AKASHIC FORM OF GRUDA. When you get there, you'll have to do the work, even if your map looks fine (trust me, it's that petty).īut I want to stress one thing. This guide is simply to point you in the direction of the most likely culprits. Understand, there's no way to know for YOUR situation where you need to go. We do not use a pigtail catheter for crossover purposes since the movement of the wire is unpredictable and may damage the vessel wall. If there is an acute angle at the bifurcation of the iliac artery, the 4‐Fr IMA catheter can be used. To cross the guidewire to the contralateral iliac artery, we generally use a JR diagnostic (4 or 5 Fr) catheter placed to the bifurcation of the terminal aorta. Total occluded iliac artery interventions commonly require a bidirectional approach from both CFA access sites. Operators who are experienced and skillful in this technique can freely select any access site, leading to safer procedures and more successful outcomes. Mastering the crossover technique is required of every interventionist since, in patients with CFA, proximal SFA, and/or distal EIA disease, this approach is mainly selected. For interventions from the iliac artery to below the knee, the crossover technique is requisite. Retrograde contralateral CFA access is an indispensable technique for interventions of peripheral artery disease at each level of the lower extremity, including the iliac, femoropopliteal, and below the knee arteries. Large diameter size devices such as those for atherectomy are not advised for a brachial or radial artery approach.Ģ.3.3. However, these are limited to balloons and stents. In recent endovascular devices for PAD, there are systems with long shafts of between 130 and 150 cm in length and these devices enable an upper limb approach. A lesion may be easily crossed with a wire through a 6‐Fr‐long sheath from the left brachial artery, and ballooning or stenting can then be performed by this approach. Additionally, this approach is vital in cases when the crossover technique cannot be employed due to previous kissing stenting at the aortic bifurcation or when CFA access is hindered due to severe stenosis or anastomosis for a bypass graft. In complex aortic bifurcation or proximal CIA occlusions, the antegrade approach is necessary and effective in conjunction with the femoral approach for successful intervention. (B) From right arm approach, the wire and catheter have to pass through the aortic arch. (A) From left arm approach, the shape of the wire is in linear form with shorter length. Therefore, a thorough understanding of the vasculature including a normal vasculature, anomalies, and complex collateral networks is required before any intervening procedure.ĭifference between left and right upper limb approach. Particularly, in the case of complex aortoiliac disease with total occlusion or calcification, a wire or catheter is more likely to stray unintentionally into unexpected vessels. Safe and successful procedures are accomplished by meticulous manipulation of a wire and/or catheter to a target vessel. Aortoiliac angiography image includes abdominal aorta, lumber branch (A), inferior mesenteric artery (B), median sacral artery (C), common iliac artery (D), internal iliac artery (E), superior (F) and inferior (G) gluteal arteries, external iliac artery (H), deep circumflex iliac artery, (I) and common femoral artery (J).Ĭommonly, the aortoiliac angiographic image includes the abdominal aorta, lumber branch, inferior mesenteric artery, median sacral artery, common iliac artery (CIA), internal iliac artery (IIA), superior and inferior gluteal arteries, external iliac artery (EIA), deep circumflex iliac artery, and common femoral artery (CFA). This article reviews an angiographic approach to aortoiliac artery disease presenting various detailed images and analyses pre‐ and postrevascularization.Īnatomy in aortoiliac artery angiography. Therefore, precise angiographic assessment is vital to success in aortoiliac artery interventions. These classifications of their morphology have finally been defined by assessment in accurate detail with angiography. The most commonly quoted classification of iliac lesions has been set forth by the Trans‐Atlantic Inter‐Society Consensus (TASC II) group with recommended treatment options. Even in complex aortoiliac artery diseases such as bifurcation disease, long segment occlusion, and aortic occlusion, endovascular therapy is being employed with the application of stents. In revascularization for aortoiliac disease, endovascular therapy is increasingly being employed instead of surgical bypass. Most cases of aortoiliac artery disease presents with lower limb claudication and can potentially progress to critical limb ischemia. Aortoiliac occlusive disease results from the common cardiovascular condition atherosclerosis, accounting for approximately one‐third of all symptomatic peripheral artery disease (PAD). |
